How to Store Kava

Kava storage is super important in Australia, Europe and the US. Unlike the Islands we have four seasons. Left unattended kava can go bad, particularly in winter or rainy seasons.

If you are only using kava for yourself and don't drink it that often we recommend storing your kava in the freezer. Some kava has a small level of moisture in the powder, which can spoil the product if left in the elements. 

Naturally most kava is consumed before it has a chance to go bad, however to preserve the strength of this magical root we advise to store you kava in an air-tight container in the freezer. In most cases it is fine to store int he bag it arrived in.

Despite what you may think I've been doing this for years and can vouch for this storage method.
