How to Prepare Yerba Mate (Traditional Method):
Fill your gourd or cup about 2/3 full with yerba mate. Tilt it slightly to create a slope, then pour a small amount of warm (not boiling) water into the lower side. Insert your bombilla (metal straw) into the wet area, then slowly add more warm water as you drink. Refill as needed—good mate can be enjoyed through multiple infusions.

How to Prepare (Tea Method)
Add 1–2 teaspoons of yerba mate to a cup, mug, or tea infuser. Pour in hot water (not boiling), ideally around 70–80°C, and allow it to steep for 3–5 minutes depending on your preferred strength. Once ready, strain the leaves or remove the infuser and enjoy. The same leaves can be re-steeped multiple times, with each infusion becoming slightly lighter in flavour. For a different twist, try adding lemon, honey, or mint.
